Isn’t this about right?

So here it the thing, as a follow up to my ‘I judge you’ post I found this on the internet this morning.  Read it.  Then contrast it to every magazine you’ve ever seen.  How many of them tell us that we need to change who we are? That our natural hair colour isn’t pretty enough, that our weight is an issue, our size, our relationships are bad? Think about the negative issues they give us.

Now think about the negative issues they pass on to the next generation of women… to vulnerable teenagers who think this is what they have to be to fit in with everyone.  Not just girls but there is a growing number of  similar articles aimed at boys telling them they should have the perfect body.

What is perfect? Why is it designated by the media? Why do we judge?  How do we stop?
